Longwood Gardens

Why have I never heard of Longwood Gardens before? Their large collection of greenery (flowers, fruit, herbs, trees, locals & mostly exotics) spread across it's immense landscape. It is truly breathtaking. And this wasn't the main event! John carefully planned going this past weekend to see an exhibit of lights by Bruce Munro and an awesome water/lights/fireworks display to musical hits of the 80's! Oh yes, Madonna, The B-52's, Michael Jackson, Joan and the Jets, John Mellencamp, & Blondie! Here is a taste of the experience.

Like a broken record I asked John,"Why didn't we come earlier?"Another day will call for another trip and perhaps more time to take it all in one section at a time. Until then, here are a few treasured pics from the day.
