The jheri curl style (a.k.a. wash & wear) is composed of loose, glossy locks that adorned the heads of many Afro-Americans in the 1970's and 80's. Big celebs that rocked this do include Michael Jackson, whose birthday happens to be today. Please enjoy one of my childhood movie favorites Moonwalker, as we remember an artist with inspirational music and hair.
